Our mission

The mission of Friendship Aspire Academy is to provide a world-class education that motivates students to achieve high academic standards, enjoy learning and develop as ethical, literate, well-rounded and self-sufficient citizens. Friendship Aspire Academy seeks to fulfill this mission by providing students a high quality, liberal arts education focused on preparing students with the academic and life skills needed to be successful in college and beyond.

Our principal

Anita Rogers

Ms. Anitra Rogers is a native of Forrest City, Arkansas. Upon graduation, she attended college at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English and was initiated into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She furthered her studies at Arkansas State University where she received a Master of Arts in English as well as completed prerequisite course work in Communication Disorders. Ms. Rogers is a single mother of one, Brooklyn and a proud daughter of a retired school teacher of 41 years. Ms. Rogers’ favorite quote is “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
Ms. Rogers begin her teaching career in 2008 in Bolivar, TN teaching ninth and tenth grade English. Since moving back to Arkansas, she has completed two Charter Leadership Institutes for Aspiring leaders through Arkansas Public School Resource Center. Ms. Rogers is a affiliated with various organizations including an active member of Second Baptist Church where she works in Youth Ministry. She is very compassionate about serving youth and their families. Ms. Rogers is definitely a servant leader and eager to help out wherever she can.
Ms. Rogers is entering into her thirteenth year in education. She has seven years of classroom experience, and six years of administrative experience to include Assistant Principal, Interim Principal, and Principal at her former schools. She is currently pursuing a Specialist in Educational Leadership. “I am very humbled to serve our students at Friendship Aspire Academy Southeast Pine Bluff. Our doors are always open, Come grow with us!

Friendship’s philosophy is that all students can achieve at high levels when provided with a consistent message of achievement from all stakeholders, strong organizational leadership to promote and maintain rigorous instruction, and research-based curriculum that engages learners. Therefore, Friendship builds schools by first engaging families and students in a vision of the future that emphasizes the skills required for college and career success. Staff are then trained in the most effective research-based practices for differentiating student learning and fostering creativity, creativity, and critical thinking.
